Cramer told viewers that defense stocks are “cheap” and are ripe for the pickin’. Regardless of who is in the White House, the defense spending cycle will continue. Cramer went on to explain that when buying defense stocks, people should look for three things:

(1) Valuation “Cheaper is better.”
(2) Levered Mostly to Defense – i.e. Boeing is big but it mostly does commercial aircraft
(3) Look out for U.S. contractors

After discussing these three qualities, Cramer brought up Alliant Techsystems (ATK) as a defense play. What are your thoughts on ATK?
