Cramer had Disney President and CEO Bob Iger on the show and told viewers that Disney was not only a “new media company” it is also the “only global brand” in the movie business. Cramer likes Disney and said that it should be much higher than it is right now. Not only did Disney do a huge stock repurchase ($5.2 billion) in the first part of the year but Disney also has also grown operating income 28% since 2006. Disney recently broke into the kids online community with the purchase of Club Pengiun. Bob Iger was quoted on the show as saying, “the internet is a powerful space we have to occupy”. Look for Disney to run in the near future.
