What is Best of Breed?
With all this talk about buying Best of Breed the question arises, what exactly does that mean? Best of Breed is a pretty simple concept if you break it down….it means that the company or stock that you are looking at is simple the best performing stock in that area or sector.
Take for example Goldman Sachs…no one even comes close to them in the financial sector. When everyone else is losing money, Goldman is beating expectations and raising guidance. Another great example is Google. No other internet search company can even touch Google’s search numbers. The closest second is way off…these are Best of Breed.
